Personal Experience Question

As discussed in the Question one tutorial, question one asks you to answer an indepedent speaking task. The question may ask you to talk about people, places, events, objects, transportation, actions, or qualities. While it is generally not a good idea to memorize any kind of script for this test, it is a good idea to become familiar with some of the commonly used phrases we use in English to answer this question. Below is a list of phrases (in italics) followed by random sentences that one may use to answer the Question one task. I suggest playing the samples and repeating what you hear. Pay particular attention to the use of word stress and intonation in each phrase.
